- Do I have to pay to advertise my space?
- Advertising your space on Youcanpark.com is completely free. Once the space has been let through the site, we charge a monthly commission of 15% (exc VAT).
- Do I pay tax on the rental income?
- We are aware of certain tax breaks. However, it is best to seek financial advice.
- Does my space have to be empty 24 hours per day?
- No. Your space may only be available during working hours. If there are time restrictions, please state them in the space description.
- How do I advertise my space?
- To advertise your space simply click “Let a Space” and follow the instructions. If you require assistance please ring 0871 200 3261.
- How does the owner get paid?
- After each month of rental, we will send you a cheque for the rental amount minus our commission. If you would prefer another method of payment, please ring 0871 200 3261.
- How many spaces can I rent out?
- There is no limit on the number of spaces that can be advertised. If you own over 15 spaces, please contact us and we can discuss a proposal that will be most efficient for you.
- How much is my space worth?
- Parking space value depends on a number of factors such as location, distance to public transport networks, size, security etc. If you are unsure of how much to advertise your space for, we can value it for you.

- Is it safe and private to register on Youcanpark.com?
- We at Youcanpark.com treat your privacy and safety with the utmost importance. We do not reveal your exact address until the space is let, and never give out your personal details.
- What if I need the space as a one off?
- If you require your space as a one off occasion please contact us and we can resolve the matter. It often results in the owner of the space paying for local car parking facilities.
- What if I want a deposit for my Space?
- If you require a deposit for key fobs etc please state it in the space description.
- What if the parker cancels but continues to park?
- It is Youcanpark.com’s responsibility to collect the money from the parker and pay you the landlord. If the parker does not pay they will be immediately issued with a cancellation notice with you the landlord being advised of the situation. If they continue to park, this will be trespassing and we will have the vehicle removed.

- How do I rent out a parking space?
- To rent out a parking space simply click “Rent Space” on the desired space advert and follow instructions. Alternatively you can ring 0871 200 3261 and we can take you through the process.
- How does the parker pay for the parking space?
- The first months rental payment is made using Paypal. After the third week in every month we will send you an invoice for the next month. This will contain payment options which include Paypal, standing order or cheque (25p charge for cheque payment).
- I can’t see any parking spaces that suit my requirements?
- If there are no spaces that suit your requirements, please contact us so that we can notify you if a space becomes available.
- What if I want to stop renting the space?
- If you wish to stop renting a parking space please contact us. We do require 28 days notice.
- When do I get my key?
- Once payment has been received we will send you the key or fob by mail.
